The Green Bay Packers got some great news regarding star quarterback Jordan Love on Saturday.

They’re getting Love back for Sunday’s game against the 3-0 Minnesota Vikings in a crucial NFC North showdown.

Love missed the last two games with a sprained MCL that he suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles in week one but is back for the Packers’ biggest game of the season yet.

Malik Willis started the last two games for the Packers and did an admirable job, throwing for 324 yards and two touchdowns. He showed he was capable of stepping up when needed in Matt LaFleur’s offense.

Love threw for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in his only start against the Eagles a few weeks ago.

He’ll need to elevate his game a bit more if the Packers want to beat the Vikings and get into first place in the NFC North.

The Vikings have won their first three games in large part because of Sam Darnold. Darnold is starting for the entire season due to J.J. McCarthy’s season-ending injury he suffered during the preseason.

Darnold is completing 67.9% of his passes for 657 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET.
